I’ve seen 4 copperheads in the last week while I’ve been out walking the food forest or out picking blackberries.
Definitely scared the shit out of me. That said upon doing a little research found out that they are pretty docile snakes and can also dry bite as a warning if feeling threatened.
The ones I saw were right by my feet so I’m lucky they felt somewhat non-threaded. Most of my neighbors kill them but I’m creating habitat and they are a key part of the ecosystem by keeping the rodent populations in check.
As a takeaway, I mowed all my paths to make sure I don’t have to walk through the tall grass.

There were many fighting for food during the Covid hype. This is the whole reason my gardening/ permaculture endeavors were kicked into high gear.
Just ate my first passion fruit from a native volunteer. OMG!! How have I not know about these for the last 33 years of life? 
I had no takers on help building a website for my business which I thought kind of odd considering the diverse programming audience there is on NOSTR.
Soooo.. I have begun the mission to create my own website with some help from the all powerful AI. Let me tell you, it’s pretty damn slick. I need about 8-12 more hours of build time and I’ll have this baby ready to publish.
I’ve always been challenged in my life to figure things out on my own whether I’m new to a subject or something gets thrown in my face from left field. I’ve always made it a goal to learn and overcome. This is what has build my character in becoming a very adaptive and resourceful person. These are characteristics than anyone can obtain and grow themselves to becoming a better person.
Keep pushing and fighting the good fight. YOU are the only person who can hold YOU back.
