All jokes aside... time is the soundest money of all. Spend it well.
Watching Baby Driver. I need to learn to drive like that 😅
This depends entirely on how long your projected time horizon is for Bitcoin to start becoming a real threat to the USD including e.g. in international trade.
Blixt! It's one of the best non-custodial lightning wallets out there for mobile!
Fiat can't buy happiness but it can buy sats which is kinda the same thing
Yup. They're bringing it back.

The real concerning thing is how easy this would be to implement and how fast they seem to be getting there already.

Surely this is the most blatant GDPR violation ever lol
Maybe this one needs a long form note to flesh it out? 🤔
In case this point wasn't already clear: commercial bank money is already "deleted" when loans are repaid.
CBDCs allowing the ability to penalise the individual not only for the amount they repay, but the time it takes them to do it, opens a new avenue for blaming poorzos for high inflation.
This links in perfectly already with Agenda 2030.
This thought has been stuck in my head a bit...
So we know 97% of fiat is just an entry on a database and those entries (new units of fiat) are created when debt is created.
It feels very feasible that the idea of "buying" something will change to "subscribing", so the time element of the loan you took out to buy a new car (for example) is always explicitly in your mind and used to force repayment.
Since the "subscription" for your fancy new EV will be connected to your digital ID and the IoT, it would be easy to disable use of it.
ICE cars would be taxed very heavily so they become unaffordable for the majority.
Everyone else will "own nothing and be happy."
It will be sold as good for the environment and good for reducing inflation + more convenient.
Sadly this seems like a natural progression...
Last one. Literally a 13 second episode of Black Mirror fr.
There ya go! And the fee is only 10k to setup a new channel and their node is zero fee routing - massive fresh air after Phoenix fees.
So make the first few zaps worth it and you'll have a load of liquidity in both directions 👌
