GN Nostr friends. Doggy meet & greet went well today. They kept Lu for a bit while we ran a couple errands. She was slobbery (not usual for her) from running around and panting so much. Passed out hard while we watched Reacher tonight, so thumbs up for doggy daycare trial run.
Other than that, looking forward to a quiet weekend. Anyone have fun plans?
Yup, it was on Coracle and Yakihonne (both of which I trust), where this was mainly happening, but doesn't seem to be an issue for nos2x-fox, so I'm just chalking it up to something weird maybe with my browser settings. 🤷♀️
It must be something going on with my work computer lately. Nostr Connect would open multiple windows to ask permission for a signing event, and then never load them. At one point I had about 15 windows open, and had to close each one manually.
Alby did the same thing to Coracle. Hmm...

GM Nostr friends. Happy Friday. Taking my Lulu in to a dog daycare place called Dogtopia this afternoon for a meet & greet. Excited but nervous, as she doesn't do well in kennels generally. Hoping to use their services instead of trying to rely on my ailing dad or friends to watch the pup when Hubby and I are gone for hours at a time or going out of town.

What signing key do you all use for your Nostr site(s) of preference on the web? I was on nos2x-fox originally, then Alby for a while, then Nostr Connect, and now I'm back to using nos2x-fox for Librewolf again.
Alby freaked out when I used Coracle, but generally behaved okay everywhere else. I didn't want to run my own hub or pay, so I got rid of it. Nostr Connect was slow and didn't interact well with most Nostr sites, only occasionally being recognized.
Despite Mozilla's recent privacy statements, I still choose to use Firefox-based browsers vs Chrome, so I've gone from Brave back to Librewolf.
For reference, I'm on Windows 11 for work, and Fedora for my personal computer.

I think I got everything figured out with all my stuff, just have to wait for everything to settle now. Still, ugh.
The American healthcare system is such a joke. A couple weeks ago, I had a small mole removed from the side of my right thigh near my knee. Maybe 20 minutes worth of work.
As an out-of-network provider, I now owe over $1K, and that is after my insurance chipped in a bit.
A rep I talked to suggested that I get my primary care clinic to write a referral back to my insurance so my dermatology clinic could be reclassified as "in network". Then I'd have to contact dermatology again in order to ask them to reprocess my charges and see if I can pay slightly less.
Of course, this is after I've already forked over ~$400, so I'll also have to ask for a refund if insurance ends up covering more of it.
I've had at least five phone calls and multiple messages back and forth already between my primary care clinic, the insurance, and the dermatology clinic, and I'm still waiting on my insurance to let me know if the primary's referral was approved.
All this for a tiny mole that was just a little suspect.

Will do! Once the storm passed, the sun came out and we already have some melting. Still very windy though. My pup is not happy at the wet white stuff at her eye level!
Snowstorm did not disappoint. Heavy, wet snow with crazy wind gusts shut down all public transit in the Cities (for now). I'm guessing we got about 7" over night, and another inch or so after Hubby shoveled the steps for me around 6:30 this morning.
Very happy to be warm inside with a cup of tea, watching the wind bow the tree across the street. Here's to a cozy work from home day. ☕
Snow storm is beginning! Hubby managed to clean out his side of the garage in time to pull his car in before it really started coming down. We'll be snowed in to some extent tomorrow. I'm looking forward to a cozy day. GN Nostr friends.

GN Nostr friends. Been busy over here. Husband's house is officially sold! Snafu with getting his check - ended up with our Realtor. I'll be picking up the real one tomorrow. Took Lu to the vet today. Vaccines and healthcare for dogs is so expensive in any money currency! Very tired here, so I'm going to scroll for a bit and then get to sleep.
