curl's handling of small transfers are now up to 30% faster (certain conditions apply)😌
Realistically, most of you will not really see this (that much). But should you need it, curl has become a little bit better.

I would guess that apart from the inferior performance in curl, server stacks have been fine tuning their implementations over the last years for other TLS stacks.
Probably not worth for them to invest in the OpenSSL unique thing when no benefits can be foreseen.
