From roasbeef on Twitter:
π¨ attention lnd node operators that have upgraded or are considering upgrading to bitcoind 27 π¨
due to stricter validation for sendrawtransaction added in bitcoind 27 (https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/29434), transaction broadcast will fail if lnd is connected to a bitcoind 27 node: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/issues/8571#issuecomment-2060814517
the RPC code in btcd's rpcclient/btcjson library was using sat/KB rather than BTC/KvB (gotta love dem units) for the max fee value, this has been addressed in this PR: https://github.com/btcsuite/btcd/pull/2142
we're planning on releasing an lnd v0.17.5 release to address this issue
until then, you should hold off on upgrading to bitcoind v27 as transaction broadcast will fail otherwise π
Why? It can't display a price below "1000" sats/dollar? ππ
Heavy cream - buttermilk = butter
In case you're on a budget π
Those ladies make me feel like Genghis Fucking Khan
OTOH, a lot of folks had a great payday this week π
What else is in it? Tripe is underrated π
Not when they've already been convicted, sentenced, and imprisoned π
Wait, what? That doesn't sound right... π€
At least you don't need to trust your customers. If you're inclined to, just take the money & provide the service.
You are misunderatanding.
The expected behavior for LN users is to use LN; the proposed case is for hybrid customers choosing to pay onchain, replenishing their LN wallet with the change, and adding inbound liquidity to the merchant
Self hostable too π
I tell you what!
Since they are going to be successful in turning #Beef into #Caviar within the retail market industry.

I think "I tell you "what?" is one of the funniest phrases!
More than the sticker price? Why?
The merchant pays to open a channel if they want; same as the merchant paying a CC fee (or, ya know, embedding it in the sticker price?)

I haven't tried these, I opportunistically peruse the netflix site for ideas...I mean, to watch new stuff...but these feeds might be a help.
I'm totally fine with bitcoiners who like cinema (an arguably "lazy" activity); they're usually the best critics!
