You can just keep buying bitcoin without trying to predict the price

Crypto is barter.

Bitcoin is money.

The reason Bitcoin is not going up is because you're being stubborn and not getting a ParmanodL Bitcoin laptop node.

I'm not angry.

I'm just disappointed.

Especially you, nostr:nprofile1qqs2xs05tluhtr6hpgsmqqxp04898gayjlyrjlexcrndv8j6el784xqpp3mhxue69uhkyunz9e5k7qg4waehxw309ajkgetw9ehx7um5wghxcctwvs0vd8n5

What does a #ParmAirGap ™ Laptop do for you?

1) Safe key generation - Follow Parman's Dice roll guide, or pick words with pre-loaded Ian Coleman's BIP39 tool.

2) Key testing/verification - check the seed you use on your hardware wallet is correctly generating addresses and not using a secret parallel seed to trick you.

3) Writing encrypted letters - See Parman's guide to encrypt files with gpg.

4) Key storage - the ParmAirGap drive is encrypted. Anyone who takes it apart and removes the drive can't read the drive.

5) Stateless wallet access - You can, but don't necessarily need to keep the seeds on the device if you're nervous about that; you'll just need to type in the seeds into Electrum/Sparrow each time.

6) Signing device (use the laptop camera to capture QR codes from your ParmandL transaction/node Laptop screen). Electrum/Sparrow signs, then shows a valid signed transaction QR on screen, which you capture with an internet-connected transaction computer.

7) OPTIONAL - Add an additional redundant password for drive encryption, with Parman available for recovery.

NOTABLE FEATURES:

The internal drive is encrypted, so even if an attacker takes apart the machine, they cannot explore the contents of the drive.

Comes with a separate emergency unlock USB key, should you ever forget your password. Keep it safe and don't store it with the machine!

The WiFi, Bluetooth, and WWAN (mobile) chips have been physically removed, and antenna wire connections removed.

The BIOS has been configured for optimal security and tamper resistance.

A hardware password is required to use the device (before the OS asks for a password).

The Terminal history has been disabled.

It has a webcam so you can use QR code communication.

The USB ports are functional - you can take new USB drives, format them with the ParmAirGap, and encrypt and transfer data.

On the machine, you'll find Linux Mint operating system, Electrum Wallet, Sparrow Wallet, Ian Coleman's BIP39 key generation tool, and the BIP39 wordlist. GPG is installed by default and it can be used to encrypt files - A guide to use gpg is included.

ParmaShell - Open source shortcuts to give you a more beautiful and easy Terminal experience.

Extra security in that a ParmAirGap looks like a regular laptop rather than a known Bitcoin device.

A SEEDSIGNER IS GREAT - but because I get asked about the differences...

1) Writing encrypted letters - otherwise not possible on Seedsigner. Copy the letter to USB drive and hand it to a lawyer for example.

2) Key storage (but you should encrypt if you do that, eg password protected wallet files). This is not possible with SS as it is stateless; you are encouraged to put it on paper or equivalent, which doesn't get encrypted. But you can use ParmAirGap in a stateless way if you choose.

3) You can generate a wallet and addresses with an open source wallet (as Seedsigner does), but with ParmAirGap, you have two other open source wallets to compare the results. This way, you're not even trusting any open source software - it removes the paranoid need to actually read the code.

4) A Seedsigner LOOKS like a Bitcoin device, it is known. A ParmAirGap looks like a regular laptop, and so is better disguised.

I list it here:

If you want to publish your own work, business, or writing online (clearnet or darkweb ie Tor), with or without accepting bitcoin/lightning for payment using a self-hosted (or hosted) payment processor, you have a wonderful opportunity to unwisely consider not engaging Parman.

Buy bitcoin and play Bach.

Hurry up, life is short.

If someone were to be playing a racing simulation game like Gran Turismo, doing laps and honing their skills, a person watching might get insanely bored, but the person playing could be in the zone, forgetting all their troubles, and highly focussed, while having a great time...

This is what I think it's like to hear someone playing Bach, vs playing Bach yourself.

I promise, it's incredible. It's not just some melody you might like to hum along to or not - there is so much going on on so many levels.

I wish for you to experience it.

The encheapification of Bitcoin is a gift.

Merry Christmas.

I'm sorry to have to bring you this news, but you need significantly more bitcoin than you currently have today.

A Bitcoin node is not software or a machine...

It is a person who actively decides what Bitcoin is by connecting to their preferred version when required.

During times of peace, no connection is necessary (for this specified purpose -there are other reasons, see links below).

During war, eg 2017, only those making a choice are nodes.

If a person connects their wallet to Parmanode or Star9, or Umbrel, but doesn't agree with it when push comes to shove, they are not a node.

So it's not just copies of the blockchain in active sync, because if it was just about that, it's plenty redundant.

Fundamentally it's people who are not passive.

The software is just to help them be an active participant when required.

I think there is a custom path option, but it's something i will make more robust soon.

Refactoring is delicate work, but I'm on it.

Thanks for feedback.

I have to limit numbers of course, I'm just one person with limited time.

You need ParmaDrive for constantly up to date redundent data backup, but you know it yet.

Book review of The Communist Manifesto (spoiler alert)...

It starts of with a deep dive into "waaa, waaa, it's not fair", and ends spectacularly with "waaa".

All opinions of people with blue hair, or who run a Core v30 Bitcoin node, can be safely disregarded without any negative consequences.

The conversation in Australia has turned into arguing against statist cucks about extra gun laws (hardly anyone has a gun anyway).

Remember long, long ago (last week) when it was about banning social media for kids as an excuse to attack privacy on the internet for all?

Magically, no one is talking about that now, too busy fighting the fallout of leftist and bots about guns.

The foundation of technical analysis...

If the price goes one way, then it keeps going that way, because momentum, but if it turns around, then it goes the other way with the new momentum, and keeps going that way.

Unless it turns around.

Triangles help, Daniel San. Always triangle. Close eye.

Everyone who is part of your inheritance circle can come to ParmaDon for assistance.

If your friend has never called you a cunt, then, I hate to break this to you, but you're not actually friends.

Of course the other possibility is that you're a really nice person 😬

Once upon a time, someone exploited a bug and got 184 billion bitcoins.

The VALID TRANSACTIONS were rugged by Satoshi to keep bitcoin going.

Today, another exploit (that Core refuses to acknowledge or fix) is damaging Bitcoin.

Similarly to the previous bug fix, where a malicious exploiter was rugged, should "valid transaction" be a reason to not fix Bitcoin?

It requires consensus that fixing a life threatening bug overrides immutability.

It's uncomfortable to talk about, but if you think about it, OF COURSE the survival of Bitcoin logically supercedes immutability.

And so, the debate should be about if this is really going to destroy Bitcoin if left unchecked. That conversation is being drowned out by appealing to less important principles of money.

I think we should first determine that, then encourage discussions about how to fix it, always remembering that the highest principle is Bitcoin surviving as digital sound money for the world.

It's OK to entertain an idea, like rugging malicious spammers, perhaps deciding against it, or not, or finding an alternative.

It was easier to fix when Satoshi was in charge and Bitcoin wasn't decentralised, now we all have to decide, all while the enemy is sending bots, and Adam Back, to muddy the waters and distract us from the most important conversations.

On Twitter, apparently it's supposed to be a tree, or two people holding hands.

Here, it can only look like one thing...

Do you think Parmanode is looking pretty?

You're a fucking retard -- experts say.

Bitcoin taught me to zoom out.

Not just out of the Bitcoin chart - it applies to everything.

You arrive at a party and don’t know anybody.

People are slowly showing up but it’s still slow but the party seems promising.

You feel lonely and a bit lost. Everyone knows their people and is talking to them. Having insiders, showing family pictures, referencing things that happened a year ago. What should you do? Yeh feels weird right?

At this moment you’re thinking to leave the party. “I’m super lonely - don’t have any friends - I don’t understand anything that they’re talking about. All of these people must be nerds right? If I don’t fit in I probably won’t like it at this party anyway. “

You’re about to leave. But you take the courage to talk to the woman getting a drink next to you.

“Hey there how are you I’m new here.” You tell her.

And suddenly her eyes glow up and she starts responding: “omg awesome.. tell me about yourself”

You introduce yourself, your hobbies and why you came to the party. She immediately nods and introduces you to her friends group.

“Hey look who just came to the party.” Her friends start to slowly communicate with you and you can quickly identify who you click with and who not.

You’re so much in conversation now that you didn’t even notice the girl left and moved on talking to other people.

You’re slowly finding the right people with the same interests. Sometimes you’re involved in the conversation sometimes you aren’t.

But that’s how parties work right? If people have something good to tell or share a lot of people gather to hear the story so sometimes you’re just a listener sometimes you’re the one telling the story. You’ve been to parties before and understand that it often takes time to get to know your crew.

In the end this party turns into an amazing evening. You met a couple new people who you exchanged contacts with and you promised to stay in contact. They also invited you to join the same party tomorrow again.

You walk home and are amazed of how this evening evolved. Sometimes being pro active and trying to get to know people actually works and this way you find the people you want to interact with.

Before leaving the girl who initially introduced you to her friends told you that the parties get better and better the more often you show up and the more you talk to strangers and show interest.

A week ago there was someone coming from another party called x or smth like that she didn’t fully remember the name of the party he normally went to. But this guy basically was just shouting into the room.

Literally standing there not talking to anyone but shouting into the void. Apparantely it worked for him on other parties. He left promptly because he said that people are mean here and that he felt really lonely and not appreciated.

Funny you think - that’s almost what happened to you when first joining the party.

You get into bed pretty happy about the day. Something within you urges you to simply scream GM into the void.. you don’t really yet know why but it feels amazing. In the distance you hear other GMs but you must be hallucinating… You close your eyes with the plan to join the party tomorrow again.

Maybe you’ll find some friends for life there 💜

Now read this again and exchange “party” with “nostr”

Now imagine everyone's hot

Updating Parmanode dot com to make it fucking hot. Sneak peak...

We have a clan member has dementia - sad, not pretty and tough to deal with.
