This is a friend of mine's mother. His dad worked all his life, day after he retired in 2018 had a heart attack and never came home.

I knew him since I was a kid, always took care of himself and gave back. Volunteered as a youth pastor, clown, and all sorts of good acts.

I don't think that is further from the truth. Hopefully is is 365 pages and has plenty of volumes to come, but for any one of us it could be only a page or maybe a few.

Happy New Year. Have you broken your resolutions yet?

I am not a huge New Year New Me person but I do have a couple goals.

1. Attempt to read The Daily Stoic and complete both the morning and evening journal exercise in the companion Daily Stoic Journal. (Last year I guess I hit 80-85% of the days reading and didn't have the journal yet)

2. Complete the #Olas365 challenge, post more notes, comment more on Nostr.

Other than that my goals are more short term (30-90 days) at this point.

Press of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe light roast is done. Time to do a little reading and writing this morning.
