It definitely was a spendy one. Hopefully I get as long out of the new one as the last, but I doubt it.
I finally had to bite it and buy a new truck battery today. I have been using the Avapow 6000a jump pack all week until I could get to town to buy one.
What a life saver. I could get 2-3 jumps out of it for my F250 and then charge it back up as needed while I was driving.

I have 2 hand grinders I use currently. They are both listed on this Amazon list. I love the MHW-3BOMBER one but it has a small chamber, it holds up to maybe 25g max.
The paracity one with the glass jar bottom is my go to for large French press or drip brew.
I have tried the electric options on there but don't currently own any of them.

Supposed to be decent weather today before another cold snap sets in. A couple days don't get above freezing. Then possibly followed by a decent amount of snow. We will see.
Hopefully this is the last of the cold for the year but only time will tell.

Hi nostr, we just had a scary encounter with the bobcat thats been preying on our animals. It was around sunset and i was watching the chickens to be sure they all went into the coop since we're changing stuff around in their run. And right across the run, on the opposite side from me, there appeared the damned bobcat, in daylight! I called my husband to come out with the rifle, and the bobcat started running off. He shot at it but we dont think he hit it. I kicked myself for not having a gun with me, but the chicken run is not very far from the house. And just a few minutes before this i had been out walking with Lucy the puppy, training her on the leash, in the same spot where the bobcat was. That could have been a horrible situation. Anyway, i'm a little shaken after this, so i think i'll listen to some nice music and chill out now. Never a dull moment around here. Wildlife encounters can be pretty spooky sometimes, mine was with a large momma black bear and her cubs. Glad you and the pup are okay. It will be back and you will be ready next time.
