And… the family has strep again. 4th time since February. So annoying. I think i caught it early enough it won’t take me out for a few days.
Today was surprisingly productive.
1. Finished fixing my electric netting for the chickens. It is now hitting at full power again. Been a long time and had many holes to fix.
2. Setup new type of irrigation in one of our raised beds I have no experience with. It was super easy and fast. Yay more automation.
3. I got another swing hung for the kids on their new swing set I built.
4. Co-ordinated with various family to get equipment out to the house to move a 40ft container I place.
I haven’t gotten this much stuff done I a single day in a long time. Now on to the next project.
Thanks for the info that makes sense. Crazy world.
Another cub decided to follow me home. Darn.
This is going to be a decent parts tractor, especially getting the hydraulics off of it.

How does the property get sold out from under you? This seems weird to me, I’d like to understand it.
Oh crap I thought I added that in the message. I thought it, lol.
It is orbit b-hyve. You setup a wifi access point and many orbit b-hyve timers can connect to it. One of my favorite features is it tracks how many gallons you use so I can optimize the amount of time to run the waterer.
My wife and I had one for a long time. We drove it until it became a 3 cylinder and the engine block deformed. It was in rough shape at the end, but it held on for dear life. We actually hated the car, but it wouldn’t die. We will also not own a tan vehicle again.
Automation! We now have the beans, sunflowers, and corn along the fence line setup for automatic watering. I am so glad I can control it from my phone over Wi-Fi. Now to figure out how to integrate it with home assistant.

Set up a new lane for the laying hens tonight. It took a lot of time because the two youngest kids helped, but it was worth it because we got the work done and they enjoyed it.
I am glad to get them moved as we left them where they were too long 😅.
This specific spot they have never been so I can’t wait to see what it looks like next year.

It is. A 47. It is my next tractor project after I get done with my 70s International 464.
Something I want to talk more about over time is tractors! Specifically old tractors. You can get them cheap and put them to work. The downside is many don’t have frontend loaders which are super useful.
I am on this journey so I will share it.

Views like this are why I like homesteading in the country. Just wish I had more than two acres 😂.

nostr:npub15879mltlln6k8jy32k6xvagmtqx3zhsndchcey8gjyectwldk88sq5kv0n I am still trying to catchup on the world. Has there been any discussion about running a TSP relay? Or is there one for nostr?
Recently I made a video on a cleaner watering system for my chicken tractor. Feel free to check it out #homestead #grownostr #nostr #oklahoma #chickens
I have been rotating chickens for a couple of years on my 2 acres. This is now the grass vs crap that it was. I am really liking the results of rotational grazing of my chickens. #homestead #grownostr #nostr #oklahoma

I guess here I am.
Hello World
