Appstore policy sucks and it's been so for a long time.
We were probably some of the first people who had to deal with this headache when we were building a mobile bitcoin and token wallet on Counterparty between 2015 and 2017. I remember the review er said bitcoin, dogecoin and litecoin are only acceptable coin and some other weird criteria.
Seems Apple hasn't made too much progress understanding Bitcoin/crypto after all these years.
The best way to find profitable Lightning nodes? Release of routing ranking based on real routing data.
This is significant for Diamond Hands node's routing strategies as well
At the same time, now with high onchain fees, running nodes and opening new channels become a bit more challenging and adding more capacity to LN is also a big pain now. I will have to adopt to this new environment and prepare for even higher onchain fees. (I have spent too many sats during Bitcoin conferences etc... lol)
Even less excuse to adopt Lightning at the current fee environment. I don't want to hear anyone say Bitcoin transaction fees are too expensive without trying out Lightning first. Once you get used to it, you don't want to make onchain transactions esp for smaller transactions.
Thanks for the shoutout😎
Beautiful day in Taipei today😎
Okay, this is pretty good. Any others?
pondering possibilities of nostr x Lightning.
I think I've come across a couple of good articles on this topic but can't find them again.
If anyone has recommendations on nostr beyond twitter alternative use cases writeups, please let me know!
Any update on the Noster event in Tokyo? (got a bit too busy to keep up with it)
Advantages of Nostr is that less people watch my tweets/notes, so I can spit out personal nonsensical stuff here and nobody gives a crap. It's quite relaxing actually.
ok, need to use Nostr more often. It's just I already have way too many channels I need to keep up with. Can we somehow consolidate everything on Nostr, please
Attending HK Bitcoin meetup and catching up wlth old Bitcoin friends
I'm no expert of Nostr, so if there is someone who has better perspectives on this, would love to learn from them.
I've only become more active on Nostr this past couple of days, so I'm still trying to figure it out, but I'm still not sure if "nostr as a decentralized twitter" can really take off and continue the growth. But use of nostr in other applications and use cases may become more important in the future.
Freedom of Speech on Twitter, they promised.... I sort of knew this was coming though

Nostr feels more pure and free though it's tiny compared to Twitter for now.

The difference between 300 and 1000 capacity is huge in terms of finding the right venue. (Easier to secure smaller venues naturally)
And the number of attendees depends on the program of the event and whether you want to (and are able to) attract local people to come as well.
So, I need a bit more input on that and can potentially help find the right venue by talking to some people and local companies.
Yup cannot make it this weekend unfortunately. Good to see people organizing events and doing stuff in a decentralized way without me or Yuya though.
