This is a slow-rolling announcement that I'll make only on nostr for now πŸ’œ. No need to act fast.

## Background

I'm sunsetting the Cashu wallet on LNbits and moving the project over to its own deployment. It will be easier to maintain and to collaborate with other devs. The wallet has been extracted into its own Quasar/Vue project and parts were rewritten. This is great news! It has new features and a better UI. I will be only working on the new wallet in the future. Try it out and let me know what you think! Please report bugs if you find issues.

# What do I do?

If you are a user of the old wallet, what does that mean for you?

- If you have sats on the old wallet please send them over to the new wallet. Make ecash transactions for 0 fees.

- No worries, you still have a lot of time. If you don't want to do it now, that's fine. I will re-announce this another 100 times.

- For those who want to wait, I will add a very simple "export your tokens to the new wallet" button to the old wallet soon, so it'll be a very simple one-click UX.

- If you had the old wallet installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA), you can uninstall it after emptying your wallet. Install the new one as a PWA to enjoy a native mobile app experience. It's going to have all the new features!
