I created a new Nostr based messaging client over the last weeks: nospeak. It supports NIP-17 completely (messages, file messages and reactions), but only 1-on-1 now.
Platform is either Web/PWA or Android. The Android app uses an own background notification task which works fine and (I hope) does not stress the battery too much.
It has NIP-05 verification for users, Blossom support for encrypted media and profile images, location sharing and much more.
Login is possible via NIP-55 (Amber), NIP-07 signer or NSec.

Nice, but I would be happy if at least one of these would work a bit.
* lnw.cash: Blank screen on Android, can't receive anything on desktop. Receive button does nothing
* nuts.cash: No Amber login on Android, crashes browser on desktop
* nutsack.me: no NIP-07 login at all
* highlighter.com: No login on Andreoid possible. New wallet button on desktop does not work.
Any hints? Browser is Firefox on desktop.
Is outbox model working in noStrudel right now? I was posting a reply to a person with 2 outbox relays and my note wasn't posted to any of these.

Encouraging everyone to embrace stacker news RSS feed. Using RSS has being a great way to move off of twitter and other algorithmic feeds. Create a feedbin account. Use that account on multiple devices and put the stacker news RSS feed there go get a raw feed of news and topics without any algorithmic curation. It is easy to mark posts as read later and also bookmark great content. Then pair that with pinboard.in archiving and you have great content cached forever

Organic Maps (a very nice offline-capable open source maps and navigation app) is now available on Accrescent by the way. I personally use this app myself so I recommend to give it a try.
If you download it and you previously installed it on Obtainium or an APK then it will appear as a separate app, this is due to Organic Maps using a different application ID for the app released on GitHub. GitHub downloads use 'app.organicmaps.web' instead of 'app.organicmaps'.

As for Accrescent, the maintainers still want to work on developing Accrescent features to allow scaling first rather than adding apps in bulk, but they are allowing apps to come. You are free to read the app requirements and documentation and ask to be added to an allowlist.
Thanks for the info, I've never heard of Accrescent before. How does it differ from a repo client like Droid-ify?
