A Nostronaut trying to stay humble. Stacking sats. Running a node. Bitcoin only!

Great tutorial from #[0] about border wallets 🤯

https://youtu.be/wHQrvCGVkTw

I already sent it to some of my friends 🥳🤣 It’s so good!

I deleted and reinstalled Damus.

Now zapping works. I just zapped you 21 sats.

It doesn’t work the first time. I get an error in Zeus. The second time it did work.

When I select Zeus as preferred wallet it doesn’t work. I have to choose every time. But that’s ok for me 👍

Thanx for sharing the link to the Video!

I’ll dig into your mentioned steel wallet test. 💪

Thank you #[0] for your support on nostrplebs.com

🤙

Done!

Your lightning node is truly yours.

You can fund your lightning channels with the nodes Bitcoin Wallet.

You can install LNDHub on umbrel and connect with BlueWallet directly to your new node for example.

They are selling hardware too:

“Our goal is to power this shift by making an incredibly simple yet powerful operating system for running them, and partnering with hardware companies like The Bitcoin Machines to offer plug-and-play Umbrel servers.”

🤔

VCs ?

“Have you raised any money?

Yes, we raised $3m in our recent round. We’re fortunate to be backed by some of the world’s best investors, including Naval Ravikant, Joseph Jacks (OSS Capital), Sahil Lavingia (shl.vc), Sam Lessin (Slow Ventures), Anne Dwane (Village Global), Andreas Antonopoulos, Owen Gunden, Max Webster, Stephen Cole, and more.”

I’m not familiar with VCs. The only well known person for me is Andreas Antonopoulos. Maybe we should ask him 😜

This sounds a little bit scary to me(single point of failure) 🥶

“Umbrel servers are powering 90% of all the Lightning Network nodes launched over the last year. What’s more exciting is the fact that the world’s most open, fair, and decentralized monetary network isn’t powered by AWS but by “average people” running Bitcoin and Lightning nodes in their homes. People are voting with their feet by participating directly at the protocol layer and not just the application layer, bypassing all intermediaries.”

Yes. It’s looking really nice.

Do you know how their business model works? I didn’t find a satisfying answer 🤷‍♂️

From Odells Twitter Account.

I‘m still laughing 🤣
