Currently using a steamer and scrubbing with 50/50 vinegar and water with a little sodium bicarbonate, but might have to go with something a little more powerful to get residue and these marks out. Just need to find something that won't further damage the aluminum.

i hate #Microsoft, but i think one of my friends IRL has convinced me to just migrate to #GitHub instead dealing with self-hosting my repos.. ..his main comment was: "self-hosting is awesome, until it isn't -- stuff breaks at the least convenient time"
#SourceHut as become increasing unstable, and i've gotta do something different..
more #SourceHut issues.. ..504 gateway time-out and SSH authentication errors.. ..do i pull the trigger on my own self-hosted option (and deal with all the maintenance that requires), or do i just use one of the [more] mainstream git hosts ?

Every Day Is #Halloween
Since shifting Mac to Linux, which I'm delighted I did, there's a single app that I'm missing, and it's proving very difficult to replace. That's iA Writer (https://ia.net/writer).
I found Typora (https://typora.io), which is solid, but it, nor any other I've found, have the same writing tools. iA Writer is like having a stern editor at your side. I use also use LanguageTool (https://languagetool.org). Great at grammar, spelling, and the like, but also not the same.
So, what do you use to write well (on Linux)? #asknostr
