Is it then impossible to access them in memory?
That it does.
But that's hardly an adoption that will change the world
I will ask as soon as I know what :)
gladly
but what's the pint?
what is your opinion ?

some shelves for my feline family in their catio
and I guess a bit of tan (if tan can be built)
Is there ever going to be any meaningful BTC adoption?
I am trying to get an answer to this question for a whole but so far it has been ignored.
Where better than at #nostr
So instead of pushing it into relays again will write it again, this time with some hashtags
#bitcoin #bitcoinmaxi #satsstacking
so we stack sats - cool
we try to escape the fiat prison - even cooler
I do stack sats, but I don't spend them (zapping 23 sats does not count). I mean meaningful spending. Like grocery shopping or buying a car.
I would probably think differently where I holding a bit more of them. But I don't.
I do not spend my sats because that means losing them, Sure I could re-buy them with the fiat but:
1. if I want it fast I would likely have to do it on an official on ramp with KYC
2. however I do it I cannot pay less than 1% in transaction costs - usually more like 5-10%.
I'd rather have 5-10% sats more.
So I don't spend.
And if most of us do the same there will never be any BTC adoption.
We will be just holding more sats and feel good about it.
What do you think?
it's not "what"
it is "how" I want to know
as soon as my BTC node is fully synced I will be asking what the heck are you talking about because i want it
I spent half a day rearranging the catio for my herd of 2.75 felines
And they don't like it :(

I think the original post explains it well
I am not an expert, but that's like saying that your root password is accessible to a provider - it is not
the HDD content could be - that's why encrypting your HDD comes into place.
however, to decrypt it, you'd still need the keys, and those keys still would not be accessible to the provider
you probably wonder how it is done - now I do too
when talking about passwords, what is held on the server is a hash that is compared with the hash of what you enter (as a password)
has itself won't open anything but matching hashes will
maybe that's something similar for the keys?
or probably even more sophisticated
I am sure that narrows it a bit
though three beers in my system are preventing me from finding the place :)
where do you live, and what do you consider a typhoon?
sorry if it is a dumb question
what do ou mean - in a layman terms?
That's an interesting read.
