The funny thing is “Want to impress your guests…” is suuuch a bs marketing line.

And completely unrelated to why I make Bitcoin art.

I want my art to inspire conversations, to nudge people down the rabbit hole, to help people emancipate themselves from fiat slavery.

But art buyers don’t always think that way. And really it doesn’t matter. Because even if someone buys my art for reasons I don’t necessarily vibe with, the art will still hopefully have the desired effect.

This sculpture needs a home.

I polished each calcite “block” by hand to bring out the natural orange of the stone, and at over 2 1/2 feet tall, this resin and orange calcite ₿ makes a statement.

What to carve…

In the Michelangelo biography that got me into stone carving, it talks of Michelangelo spending years carving sculptures in his head before the real thing. Planning every detail..

Last couple of nights I’ve been experiencing something similar. Can’t fall sleep because new ideas pop into my head. Is the ornamentation I have planned right? Should I try something different? Can I do better? Perfection is the enemy of good and all that…

The artwork in your home or office says a lot about you.

What does your artwork say about you?

Perfect size for a bookshelf or desk.

These bronze casts are limited to 21 pieces, created using the lost wax method with a mold from my first carving in marble.

Still some numbers available.

Reach out if you’d like more info. 🤝

Bitcoin is light in the darkness.

Realized I hadn’t tried the LED behind the orange calcite yet…

So here’s testing the “Halving Ceremony” effect.

Glows beautifully.😎

So soldering wasn’t too bad..

Might not be the cleanest job, but it powers up, the code is running, and nothings caught on fire so far!

Now to get back to UX improvements and finishing the sculpture itself..

You love Bitcoin?

Make a statement with a hand carved 1/1 relief in natural slate with gold leaf accents.

I completed this piece over the course of three months. It is a physical expression of proof of work and the low time preference ethos of Bitcoin.

Interested? Let’s talk.

I know you’ve all been on pins and needles, DESPERATELY waiting for this…

₿itcoin is ₿eautiful.

Vibe coding continues...

Currently working on UX improvements to the local network portal. Still looks like garbage, but I'm not having trouble accessing it anymore so that's a win.

Current goal is to work out all functional kinks and then I'll move on to aesthetics and improving the copy etc.

It's been over 90 degrees out the last few days, so stone carving is mostly on hold. Gonna get this code right, make sure the LED lighting effects do what I want them to, solder a more permanent version of the electronics etc... maybe fit in some stone carving at night when it cools off.

Elliptic curve pattern ✅

Need to deepen it further and do some sanding but I’m happy with it so far.

Need a last minute Father’s Day gift for the dad who already has everything including a fat stack of Bitcoin?

Get him a Bitcoin statue so he can brag to all of his friends.

Same day hand delivery available in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

Each new block is a slow heartbeat. Fades in and out. The halving is 21 very long pulsesz it gradually fades in and out.

Playing with ideas… 🏛️⚒️₿
