I got this in the mail today from The Farmers Dog dog food. We have been using it for over a year for our dog and she loves it. She's older and this has made a big difference in her activity level, coat, weight etc...
I don't get anything for this, but someone will get a free box of either dog or cat food for using the QR code. There was nothing about me getting any reward. It's a solid product so I don't mind sharing the word on it.

Thank you. Yes, I agree with you on this. I encourage it, and my wife and I read to our kids often and always have. I kind of trick her by having her read recipes for cooking, and instructions for things we build and games we play. I haven't tried the video game approach but that's a solid idea, thank you.

I'm reaching here, but I think it's worth a shot.
My oldest daughter is learning how to read. We are trying to convince her it's a super power and that no one will be able to take that knowledge from her and she can learn anything, and go on the most amazing adventures.
Her school is doing a fundraiser for books read per child. My daughter is only 2 books in. Currently, I'm paying $3 a book for her. $1 for the school, $1 for her, $1 in BTC.
Is anyone interested in donating. I am trying to get her excited about reading and learning to do things for herself.

Life is great even when you have to work extra hours from home, but you get to hear your little kids laugh when they are playing, even if you don't get to participate.
A child's laughter is one of the most pleasant sounds in the world we live in.

Maybe we should try to celebrate and encourage traditional father roles in the family and attempt to push for fathers involvement in their children's lives. I couldn't imagine being out of my kids lives.
