Neither the post a job or log in buttons seem to do anything on my mobile browsers. So far I've tried brave, fennec, vanadium, mulch and bromite. Some are pretty locked down but others are default settings.

I'm happy to provide more info if there's anything specific that would help.

Happy to spread the #amethyst love. Next thing you know you'll be running it on #grapheneos via #tor 😁

πŸ“£ Announcing Ostrich Work πŸ“£

https://ostrich.work/

It's the first Nostr-native job board using the new 30402 event kind detailed in the Classifieds NIP.

It's still very early but you can post jobs and browse through jobs. Lots more to come soonβ„’!

Jobs? Classifieds? You might be wondering how these are the same. It's best to think of Classifieds as "anything being offered". This can be places to stay, stuff for sale, jobs, places to rent, personal ads, etc. And yes, I've got a few more projects in the space in mind...

Thanks nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft for the early feedback.

When I click on the post a job button it animates but nothing loads. This is with bromite in incognito mode. Just a heads up.

I've considered it but was recently laid off so currently it's beyond my budget. The power consumption was a little high for my setup last I checked also but I hear the new units are more efficient.

I could pull it off in the summertime but not enough sun in the winter where I'm at. Also I can't forward ports with the cell service I'm using for internet access.

That's basically what I mean by anti materialism. I don't think it was a socialist/communist message about owning nothing. We appear to agree about this point.

What I'm trying to say is that bitcoin is a means to an end. For some that end is freedom. For others it's yin yang coffee tables. I just don't think Tyler would stack sats for sats sake which is what the meme seems to suggest.

Yes materialism specifically. "The stuff you own ends up owning you."

But sure there are nonconformist themes as well.

Sure but what about the themes against materialism and Tyler's vision of wearing furs amongst the overgrown remains of skyscrapers in a post collapse world.

It didn't seem to me like he wanted to tear it down just to build a "fair" version.

They did live on Paper street though 😁

I feel like this misses the point of the book/film.
