a survey in EU about what people consider to be the most important factor for getting ahead in life.

well, might take a while to make a dent but it's a start.

Having made this float/int overflow bug a couple times myself, I feel less bad to see a company like Nintendo having them too xD https://youtube.com/shorts/h3UvdEF98DY?feature=share #gamedev

Before deciding to make Steam, Valve actually approached several companies, like Microsoft, Yahoo! etc looking for someone who had or could build a good solution for updating their published games reliably. Imagine if Xbox Live with all patching features existed already, maybe Valve would end up using that system on PC and Steam would never be.

have I watched too much Alien or does this kinda looks like a facehugger?

As those game had their engine opensourced long time ago, they have been maintained and so can still run on modern OS. You can use DarkPlaces to play Quake1 with modern lighting and fancy rendering tricks.

To me it just looks like they are creating hype around Quake because they are probabling making Quake 5.

nostr:npub1s5kk7465dj4yd3g3zf80rmqzvlnwajre52rf4je987jhrlz04f6swxx5pl I wonder how much QL mp has changed that it could just co-exist along side, like maybe Q3R could use the existing QL servers, one can hope

Quake 1 and 2 remastered versions are exciting because not only are they very well made, it gives me hope of a optimized/remastered Quake 3 version down the line

I don't fully understand half of it, but here's a neat article about how someone built their own Mega Drive/Genesis devKit from scratch https://nestenius.se/2022/01/18/how-i-built-my-own-sega-mega-drive-hardware-dev-kit-from-scratch/

wonder why DuckGoGo goes for the drink when we search for screwdriver, other search engines go for the tool, which makes more sense imo
