cypherpunk class of 1991!

confusion abounds: that 2i factor is actually 2^i

so no division by zero and the sum is limited to 21000000

Is it varying randomly?

I had a similar issue with varying albyhub wallet balance which I eventually tracked down to incorrect channel liquidity reporting (even in RTL). Closing the old channels and opening new, different ones fixed the problem.

ditto.

from my alby hub, matt has a routing timeout

I did!

Laughing and crying at the same time.

elon musk says he will switch on the first commercial direct-to-cell service (T-Mobile only I think) in a few months. Then many more over several years. Low bandwidth but generally good enough.

Might be worth watching to see how the account and IMEI/SIM details are handled.

I guess local calls might initially be expensive.

i get dermatitis herpeteformis, and i have chronic diarrhea, a diet high in bread for 7 months while in prison led to the development of chronic bronchoconstriction (basically anaphylaxis)

I get about half of these uncommon symptoms as well:

However, more than half the adults with celiac disease have symptoms that are not related to the digestive system, including:

Anemia, usually from iron deficiency due to decreased iron absorption.

Loss of bone density, called osteoporosis, or softening of bones, called osteomalacia.

Itchy, blistery skin rash, called dermatitis herpetiformis.

Mouth ulcers.

Headaches and fatigue.

Nervous system injury, including numbness and tingling in the feet and hands, possible problems with balance, and cognitive impairment.

Joint pain.

Reduced functioning of the spleen, known as hyposplenism.

Elevated liver enzymes.

i know my bones are weaker than normal, i get joint pain, the dermatitis, fatigue, numbness and tingling in the hands and feet, balance problems, i was tested by an impulse response test while i was in New Zealand that said i had severe impulse control and attention deficit, i also got tested at a sleep lab, overnight test, and a day test, and when i saw the neurologist he was ready to prescribe me ritalin or dexamphetamine, both of which i'd tried previously and were causing severe side effects

i'm 48 now and several of the secondary problems that can come from this not being properly treated also... the numbness and tingling are actually part of a complex of issues related to sugar metabolism as well, and i now get cramps in my lower legs and hands

i sure as fuck would like to get it treated but literally that means eating grass fed beef and raw milk and living in the country lol... can be tricky to organise, i'm working on it

After about 25 years longer than you with almost all the symptoms you mention, I came to realize that the base issue is inflammation and that it works like a chain reaction with feedback. Food, infection, etc can start inflammation anywhere then inflammatory agents spread everywhere increasing the likelihood that other areas enter the inflammatory state. The feedback occurs because the overall inflammatory state of the whole system increases the inflammation of the original trigger as well. Nasty stuff.

Its a self-perpetuating cycle, difficult to stop by eating better etc.

After years of it I found the best way is to clamp down hard on it with antiinflammatories for a few days, then ease up slowly (for your kidneys' sake). Years ago I started with steroids and I was amazed how effective they were but long-term use was advised against.

Recently I found etoricoxib (90mg/day until the inflammation levels reset - its very noticeable, then slow down until early symptoms appear again (mine are usually the joint pains). I'm down to 90mg every month on average to stop that chain reaction starting as needed.

Do you have gastric reflux too? I was surprised when the antiinflammatories helped there too.

Are you discussing this somewhere?

I'm thinking the toe tingling, numbness and calf cramps are real damage beyond the inflammatory cause - its not getting worse now, but other than that it doesn't seem to be improved by antiinflammatories

Specialists over 30 years or so have been quite useless in my case.

extension v3.9.2

I recall seeing it, but it was always more of an accident. i think it was on the alby website though.

These problems seem to be exponentially increasing after alby hub configuration. Zaps from nostr have stopped working now. ouch.

I'm sure it's my fault because i never resolved earlier (years back) issues properly.

I think I'd better step thru with someone - it would be more than just a hub onboarding tho - there are connections to fix etc.

Do i need an invite for https://cal.com/getalby?

To clarify, by 'non-custodial' you prolly mean '3rd party custodial' or 'non-self custodial'?

Trust the politicians to add this confusion!

the only thing i see there is called 'site settings'. It has no 'key management'.

You think this has something to do with the browser? I've had problems in the past matching your documentation with Brave beta. Can you offer an exact link to the wallet settings?

What browser did you use to see 'wallet settings' in the example you show above? I may need to change browsers!

There's a message at the top of the hub screen telling me to migrate. After i do it the hub tx log text states it was migrated to the hub (and i see the balance go up).

it's kinda annoying because i believe you're about to remove that alby shared wallet.

I've seen this setting before, but now I can't find it again (Brave-beta browser).

Could you be a bit more specific in that path? I don't even find a 'wallet settings' now!

I rt-click on the extension icon, click 'manage extension' but there's no 'wallet settings' there.

Did I get to it in alby hub?

Do we delete the alby web wallet then?

Currently, whenever i send funds to the hub, it appears in the alby wallet and i'm told to migrate it to the hub

omg. i just noticed this typo. i meant bottom RIGHT, not left.

sry...

I've always assumed the sellers are close to the money printer. On an exchange that means they have access to enough collateral to short bitcoin almost without limit. Then buy it back (to repay the bitcoin loan) slowly while traders are still panic selling (because the initial shorts were so sudden).

Sound sensible?

decentralization for the win!

decentralize that initial connection site asap though.

Once that risk (for a brasilian user) is taken once, is the mirroring done from there or does it take advantage of the nostr decentalized network?
