I like open protocols, cryptography, and seeing people being creative.

In the long run, I expect such an open protocol to be just like email protocols: not so sexy companies making products based on it, but a tremendous amount of value being created for everyone. And in the short term, there will be winners if the protocol gains traction :-)

The reason you didn't see any recos is cos there's no recommendation algorithm- you only see posts from people you follow on Home feed.

Maybe browse through #grownostr to find posts you like/people to follow. And looks like you're using Amethyst, in which case you can follow hashtags & see posts from those too on Home feed.
