Anon if evolution is right…give it enough time and humans will adapt to the notion of men getting pregnant & having periods 🤣…the mind is a powerful thing.
We look at certain factors to get an indication of how #Bitcoin’s market value & purchasing power will perform in the free market.
There have been many examples where there was high anticipation for value appreciation that failed to come to fruition. I don’t know why that is but it shows me that #Bitcoin is an asset class that doesn’t fit previous models for predicting future growth & adoption.

Why #Bitcoin for Proton Wallet? The answer is the same for why Proton chose to create a product for email. If I went back to 2014 with a clean slate & wanted to build the most private communication channel in the world…
I would not build email on SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol). The protocol was build in the 1980’s with many concerns. The web as we know it today did not exist yet and the privacy was very poor. The most important redeeming features were it was federated & decentralised.
There is no central authority that controls email. Anyone can run their own server & the protocol can’t really change because of the challenge of achieving general consensus amongst users for any changes. These properties made email the most effective communication tool ever.
Everyone has it & everyone needs to use it. Despite after 30 years of trying to displace it with attempts at creating better communication technologies, email is still here. Why? Because it has the biggest network.
The reason Proton chose email for Proton Mail can be used as an analogy for why Proton chose #Bitcoin for Proton Wallet’
