Hi Lyn, I've been thinking about NOSTR alot - I'd love for it to succeed but I'm not even on here much myself. But what if Primal provided crypto income based on content viewing activity? While not a new idea, past schemes based on this idea have not been sustainable. There is one that is.
A company named Verasity uses new Ai tech to save publishers ad revenue by eliminating bot views in ad view counts. The funds saved in ad costs (indirectly) pay users to view content (Verasity has a patent on View-2-Earn).
Could View-2-Earn be incorporated into Primal? If so, it might provide a financial incentive to users. (full disclosure - I'm an investor). Here is some more info: https://verawallet.io/earn-vra?c=US
Nostr seems to offer novel ways for promote income that may be less transactional (pmt for service ) and more win-win (income is generated for all users). Its really intriguing but I need to do more research here. Preferably a group project. Anyone have any ideas?
what are some creative ways to generate income on nostr? How might the funds in the zap pool be used to generate passive income for everyone via DeFi or staking? https://liquidity-provider.com/articles/how-to-earn-passive-income-with-defi-in-2024/
Wouldn't it be interesting if advertisers were savvy enough to zap nostr users to view their advertisements? I think that sort of happens on LinkedIn, except no one gets paid (why did this person look at my profile?). Micropayments for ads might be a cheaper strategy than the conventional advertising.
no answer, I guess you're just an asshole
uh- ok what point are you trying to make?
My first nostr note. Nostr has gotten me interested in writing about crypto again, as I think it can help it go mainstream. I've written a lot about AI and data management but crypto is always the most exciting topic to write about. Thinking about writing about Nostr now, still need to learn more about it.
Sorry - thought I was responding to Lyn. Glad to follow.
Thank you. I really appreciate your insights here (and in crypto, finance). Does the nostr.directory still work? Getting a 500 status error regardless of browser.
