Just bought a new PC laptop and it won’t let me use it unless I create a Microsoft account, which also means giving their AI access to my computer! This is messed up.

There used to be an option to skip signing into or creating a Microsoft account.

It's quite ironic that we, a bunch of materialistic, post-industrial barbarians, program AIs and then expect them to exhibit ethical behavior based on the data of our insights and judgments.

The weak link in this chain of creation is the builder, not the product.

But when we think of ourselves as perfect beings, we don't come to this conclusion of course.

Twitter = trying to be the smartest person in the room.

Nostr = trying to be the kindest person in the room.

It's basically adding RAM capacity by using internal storage. It was great when it comes to improving multi tasking, But it varies on storage type & how fast the storage was.

For a mobile device, it consume lot of battery powers, So disabling it could reduce the usage. But also preventing the phone to go hot even in light usage.
