Retro Release Dates: Tales of Symphonia (GC) was released in Japan! The GameCube had a bit of an RPG problem, meaning that it didn't have many. Tales of Symphonia was a great game that helped fill that void.

20 years ago today, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was released in Japan. FFCC is a strange but fun game, featuring four-player multiplayer that utilized the Game Boy Advance and its ability to connect to the GameCube with a link cable.
It also marked the end of a nearly decade-long absence of the Final Fantasy series from Nintendo home consoles. The last game before FFCC was FFVI/FFIII for the SNES.
