An old home remedy to reduce fever is vinegar socks. Simply pour (apple) cider vinegar into a bowl, add a splash of water, soak the socks in it, take them out, wring them out a bit, and then put them on the feet, wrapping a towel around them (to prevent everything from getting wet). Tried a thousand times. Helps to reduce fever 100 percent.
