I had a rough night. I woke up at 3:30, and my whole self was: 'Parisienne.' I'm super glad that nostr:npub1qqqqqqyz0la2jjl752yv8h7wgs3v098mh9nztd4nr6gynaef6uqqt0n47m told me to dip my last remaining cigarettes in water. Without a doubt, I would have lit one up tonight. So I stayed in bed and faced that asshole addiction.
A dear friend told me: Find out what comes up in you first: the thought or the craving? I meditated on that, and it got me through the night.
I decided today to quit smoking. This may sound trivial to those who don’t smoke or have already quit, but for me, it’s a big deal. I have been smoking for almost my entire life, and I have enjoyed it. Everyone who knows me is familiar with my Parisienne cigarettes. Somehow, they suited me. (Even non-smokers have told me they would start smoking if they knew it would look as elegant as it does on me. No joke.) Smoking has become a part of me.
Today, I have decided of my own free will that I have smoked long enough. There is no specific reason for this decision.
To put a little pressure on myself—just in case—I’m leaving this message here. If you are a smoker and in the mood to quit as well, let me know. Maybe we can support each other in the coming weeks.

I just got home from the office and I'm sneaking around in the pantry to see what delicious food is left from today. I have the choice between pork knuckle and meatballs with potato salad. Yummy! But I think I'll just have a cake instead. It's already 4 a.m. here.
I got an email notification it was down… for some reason it logs me out of the session after a while and it stops working.
