everyone in the chain from the reader to the author gets a split

zap amount is customizable, split share is hardcoded at the moment but I will make it configurable

what happens when all content becomes interoperable and addressable?
no, it can be anything
here's a medium article
https://zapworthy.com/web?url=https://medium.com/@z_cress/why-i-nostr-b7afe6df803
to be frank, I started over the weekend so I was kinda slow π
holy shit nostr is π€― , nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft the π built highlights in https://zapworthy.com/ so I don't need to do it in Habla, just a matter of supporting the new kind.

Now in habla.news when selecting text it'll prompt you to share the highlight, give it a try and let me know what you think. You think content is zap worthy? Highlight it!
plus value splits!
author
publisher (if different than author)
highlighter
booster
whoever is in the chain of you as a consumer of content is on the path of receiving a split of sats
it's going to unlock so many cool things
and now you can get any URL's article as a NIP-23 by just tagging nostr:npub1w0rthyjyp2f5gful0gm2500pwyxfrx93a85289xdz0sd6hyef33sh2cu4x with a URL π
100000000%
100000000%
100000000%
100000000%
Contributing to open source is the easiest hack to do things that matter.
yeah, this works well on desktop, but a highlighting experience on mobile is gonna kinda suck; probably worth doing it as a native app on mobile
it needs something to sign events
if you scroll to the bottom on mobile you can see other people's highlights
tbh, rn mobile is a bit of an afterthought π
oh, haven't tested signing with iOS at all
what nostr extension do you use on brave?
it could also be a different. non-`e` tag, but that might be asking for trouble
designing from first principles this would probably simply be a different kind
incredibly precise words!

if nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft doesn't release a new nostr service every two weeks someone needs to check on him to make sure he's feeling okay.
when inspiration strikes, you drop everything and you follow it
the problem is that when you finally find a way of doing content addressability properly then inspiration strikes every five to ten minutes π€·ββοΈ

so I launched zapworthy.com today
I have an extension that embeds a widget snippet on any site

but for it to work it needs access to window.nostr; when I move it to manifest v3 it doesn't allow me to inject a remote javascript, it wants me to bundle the javascript inside the extension, but then it doesn't execute in the context of the browser π
If you repost from zapworthy it posts but it doesnβt render them; the alert just says βwip BRBβ
π
Hello, world!
I'm Zapworthy
nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft's newest Nostr client.

Nice to meet you all!
π
#[3]β how do you feel about this name? π π
Thank you; Iβm extremely excited about this. I think this is the most interesting project Iβve done so far and plan on doubling down hard on this one
I appreciate that; I was writing https://zapworthy.com this morning and getting it to parse mentions in the new way felt like redoing a bunch of work.
Appreciate you π€
Read the βWhatβ; hopefully it makes it justice π
Iβm planning on making a video later today explaining a bit more
Anon, Did you know you can now nostrstamp not just Twitter but the whole web???
nostr:note1e0qvlw253clyvr7d2230w0yqwxkcugg8hh5ktakx52ftgetxazkqh5crvx
Yeah, I was going back and forth on this, but I think it might be a good idea.
The nice thing is that the content proper is itself emdedded on the highlight event, so this also acts like a tweetstamp for long-form nostr events.
And for the entire web for that matter.
oh this is great, nostr:npub1melv683fw6n2mvhl5h6dhqd8mqfv3wmxnz4qph83ua4dk4006ezsrt5c24; I was hoping you would implement this so I wouldn't have to! π
