It's actually just combination of favicon + server name, but that effectively tells you what the server software is 90% of the time.

The fact that people are still using Metatext is testimony to how good it is. I think it will be pretty easily my go to rec for a free iPhone client.

Ok this is wild - when I (iPhone) text mastodon links to my partner (Android) they suddenly don’t appear to be coming through. No error, she just doesn’t get them. Seems to be regardless of the instance.
Anyone who stopped masking in the last couple months and is starting again (or on the verge of doing so)?
