If the issue has been there since you installed Damus, then I believe you ran into a known issue with one of our past Damus versions. In that case, you can fix these problems by going to Settings > First Aid > Reset Contact list.

I’m using Damus, there seems to be a lot of glitches. My notifications rarely show, dms don’t work, and it seems like I have to re follow all my followers all the time 🤷🏼♂️
