I was in the aviation industry for many years. If its flat or round you still have to be a certain distance from land for emergency landing if the aircraft is not ETOPs certified. Thats the problem 😼
What a dummy. There are flight rules where you have to fly a certain distance to land in case you need an emergency landing. Certain aircraft have the ETOPs certification that allow them to fly further away from land. SMH
