in my view: the more advanced, educated and responsible a society is, the more it should accept free information. right now there's less free information that there should be, but free information absolutism is also absurd at this point, maybe in a few centuries.
i really wish that freedom of information vs infohazards were discussed and debated with the same nuance and as often as capitalism vs socialism is. i have my personal view, but i would still like to see people from both sides presenting their best arguments and refutations.
