Crypto and liberty. Living on crypto since 2015. Free State Project mover, content creator at Digital Cash Network, writer for Human Events .

GPT4 can nearly replace the entire education system.

And this was always inevitable. It was only a matter of time.

People like us are living on crypto because we've known this all along.

Dark side of living on crypto at this early stage: I always get a little bit of anxiety going out socially because I never know if I can spend crypto wherever everyone wants to go.

This thing needs to pass. You don't know how many businesses have been destroyed and how many innocents went to prison because of this money transmitter nonsense.

Believe it or not, one day government education will be universally seen as silly and backward.

Tomorrow (Friday) at 3pm EDT/7pm UTC Nicole Grinstead comes on the Digital Cash Rundown to talk Coinbase tangling with the SEC, Do Kwon's arrest, and more. Come watch us break out the popcorn🍿

Privacy isn't binary, and pretending it is encourages people to choose 0 rather than 50 out of 100.

There's quite the sliding scale about who knows exactly what about you. Protect as much of your private information from as many people as you feasibly can!

A handgun's useless for protection if you don't know how to shoot.

A rifle is useless for hunting if you don't know how to hunt.

Crypto is useless at protecting you from the fiat collapse if you don't know how to use it.

I agree with you. The kind of stuff Panther is pursuing is institutional stuff. Which I'm nowhere near as bullish on, but whatever.

Probably the most bullish sign on privacy is that even the fully-compliant, full-KYC world is getting in on it. Crypto will be private or it will not work.

Want to fix our broken society and institutions instead of abandoning them? It's impossible without a credible threat of exit.

If they don't believe there's a point at which you leave, there's no incentive for them to keep things from getting worse.

REMINDER! This Friday at 4pm EST/8pm UTC Seth For Privacy comes on the Zcash Podcast! I did a lot of research for this one because I wanted to do it justice. Can't wait!

I think projects that don't have both privacy and programmability in the future won't fare well. Railgun adds privacy to programmability, THORChain adds DeFi to coins without it.

The BitPay data shows the same thing: Lightning Network users are overwhelmingly using custodial services.

Bitcoin needs to start exploring different scaling methods ASAP, before we end up with fractional reserve banking 2.0!

No, there's nothing wrong with still using Lightning properly, but it's clear that a vast majority of even the nerds here on Nostr won't use it if it's difficult to use (which it is).

I have zero respect for people who say they care about crypto, but refuse to use it unless it's their favorite coin. Looking at you, fiat-loving "Bitcoin not crypto" clowns! 🤡

You can be picky with your coins after you're fiat-free.
