There are both good and disappointing reasons to be in that situation. My parents love by themselves. But it would be a lot more convenient if they lived with me. Caring for aging parents remotely cost more time more often then not.
My Friday night was disrupted with my neighbor knocking on my door at 10pm to see if I had the spare key to their house. We have this arrangement in the event of an emergency.
It was not an emergency, so I was effen pissed.
But I thought to myself, good riddens. At least they can't wake me up again for that nonsense.
Checks my mailbox this morning to find an envelope with the same said keys neatly enclosed with a note. F@$kety f@#$k.
