Yep. South Park did this exact joke.

Every dog dies, but not every dog really lives. Good for them.

Moral justifications of pirating always reveal a sense of entitlement. You have to remember, Alden developed her knowledge through a lifetime study. There's a lot of opportunity cost in developing such specialization. Through that effort, she can provide novel insight into a topic which you would otherwise be less informed. By writing that book, she provides all of us a real service. Pirating is choosing not to provide Alden with reciprocal value for value.

When you have to turn to name calling, you're arguments are probably lacking the quality needed to change minds.

The problem is two-fold: 1. Why are we removing seemingly harmless options for node operators? And 2. Why are we implementing these changes without broad community consensus, and over very vocal opposition?

I was suggesting the answer to your question could be gleaned from a response Shinobi already gave. I then offered my opinion on Shinobi's implied position. I was trying to be helpful. You're trying to be a dick.

Apparently they passed a new law limiting Bitcoin use

Not meaning to be too contrarian here, but success at the cost of a person's integrity would be one "wrong way" imo. I think a lot of people who are uneducated on the subject presume Bitcoin is in some way dishonest, which would negatively inform how they view a person's success through Bitcoin.
