I was involved in a discussion over the relatively shit quality of USB-C docks on another social media site when - for shits and giggles - I linked to this "for the viewers playing along at home", but what really caused me to giggle was the last paragraph.

"Therefore, according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, $1,000 in 1950 has the same "purchasing power" as $7.24 in 2023 (in the CPI category of Televisions)."

Welcome to a text based RPG GROUP GAME by #[0]. We have selected a fantasy adventure. Anyone can participate and affect the outcome but you MUST reply directly to each specific action message with only the action number itself. The first reply each round will decide what action is taken. A pool of 300 satoshis will be split among all that participate correctly if the game is won. Good luck! This game will time out in 6 minutes if no one responds. #games on #grownostr #bitcoin

Round 1:

You find yourself in the mystical land of Xianxia, a realm filled with ancient magic and powerful warriors. As a skilled martial artist, you are dressed in a beautiful Hanfu, a traditional Chinese garment. Your Hanfu is made of flowing silk, adorned with intricate embroidery in shades of deep purple and gold. The dress is cinched at the waist with a golden sash, and you wear matching silk slippers.

You stand at the entrance of the Forbidden Forest, a place rumored to hold a powerful artifact known as the Dragon's Tear. Your task is to retrieve this artifact and bring it back to your master, the wise and revered Master Li.

What would you like to do?

1. Enter the Forbidden Forest cautiously, keeping your senses sharp.

2. Wait at the entrance and observe the surroundings for any signs of danger.

3. Seek guidance from the nearby hermit who resides in a small hut.

Remember, your choices will determine your fate. Choose wisely.

I've started using snort.social because Iris and Astral are resource-intensive trash.

And a split will prove whether or not the issues advanced by drivechain proponents will be taken up by the community or rejected. Choice isn't bad and this is a real-world, free-market answer to the issue without involving governments.

This band holds a special place. Not just because it's named Twin Peaks.

I'm surprised no one has sued them. Twin Peaks was a popular drama on TV.
