If you do someone's a favor, probably they'll be grateful. This is how trust is build.
If your relationships hide behind digital communication methods, anonyms and pseudonyms, you're better of not giving out much trust to anyone, unless proven they're really worth it and demostrate that with FACTS.
Trusting custodians do not make the custodians glad you trusted them. They can always disappear.
Pay attention at online trust, unless clear and reasonable guarantees.

Since what's happening with the Samourai wallet, do you guys finally implemented Tor on your Aqua wallet? Do you have any personally identifiable information of your users? Do you have some countermeasures in the unfortunate case US government shut down Liquid federation because of some privacy features in their trusted "blockchain"?

Yes, but what about the censorship and all the closures that custodians will have to face? Ecash is brilliant, but shines too much and custodians must live in the shadows to survive. But eventually they'll all get caught.

You'r keys are always technically "local" until proven the opposite, so definitely not sure from a legal point of view. Nonetheless, practically it is, you joust need to defend yourself from eventual legal annoyance.

I synced a full node over tor with a much worse connection bandwidth + over wifi into 2.5 days. Hardware was an Odroid M1, bought for less than 120 bucks.
This is probably very unpopular these days, but I agree 100% on that.
Crypto shitcoins are still better than regulators and fiat shitcoins, at least because they incidentally contribute to individuals' temporary financial freedom in the form of financial arbitrage over regulation.
Eventually shitcoiners tend to find out #Bitcoin signal, even if burried under tons of shitcoin-ery.
Regulators try to stop and shut up #Bitcoin signal, thus I consider them worst.
Very often I find myself asking this question: why do I spend my sats?
Really, it's so financially irrational to spend sats if you have fiat shitcoins in your pocket.
But then I realize that payment services, Lightning Network and other technologies were created exactly to enable us to spend sats, to move them.
If sats do not move, Bitcoin has no value.
So, I wanna thank all the people that told me that it's stupid to spend sats, because they gave me the the awareness that if sats do not move, bitcoin is gone.
