Sometimes I write here but no one seems to read me, all caught up in the drama of the moment.

I just wanted to tell you that everything will be fine, when #bitcoin is involved one way or another it's always fine.

It would be prudent to have an understanding of both the technology you're using and of the legal system within which you're using it.

the fight should be on more levels and layers, from taking more personal responsibilities to set up common way to fight and help the plebs that don't have the tech yet.

the fight should be also on court level, it's not more about #bitcoin, and common people should understand that, connect the dots with all the limitations to freedom happened and perpetrated since Covid and before with lame excuses as "your own good".

it's not about just bitcoin anymore, everyone shuld understand that if we lose this fight, it's 1984.

It actually is self-custody.

I think they have until 2025 before the law is fully implemented, so they have some in-between time, maybe.

Freedom needs responsibility

Have to say, I find nostr much more compelling these days now that the are fewer sacred cows and more independent thought.

Overreacting is the easy option, and all too often the one that is chosen. Unfortunately that's what this decision about Phoenix wallet seems to be.

BTC Prague in 2023, moderator opened the stage with a "who's the best Bitcoiner" game. All rise, and you remain standing unto you can't answer a question with YES:

"Who owns bitcoin?

Who runs a full node?

Who runs a LN node?"

...circa 10 questions evermore detailed while half a dozen 4k cameras all throughout the room were filming. I was in the front row and sat down immediately while hundreds of people doxxed themselves and their involvement in Bitcoin. Moderator gave me a funny look and said he'll hook me up later with some BTC hahaha.

A room full of Bitcoiners, the 0.1% of society, yet still the majority of them can be played like a fiddle.

There's maybe 1% of 1% who gets it almost right. But you never know. BECAUSE THEY SHUT THE FUCK UP!
