David Lynch’s birthday 🎂

Enjoying the color activation across the field with the discontinuous rhythmic verticals, and the spare diagonal in the blue and yellow but that doesn’t go parallel to the black diagonals. The only question at this moment to me is the long black diagonal on the starboard side and the way it makes co-planarity of the reds a bit.

I’ve heard recently (and I’m just a dilettante having fun with this stuff btw), sounds like we’ll have to endure the roll out of cbdc first and all that horseshit that comes with it, but it (the cbdc control freaks) will not endure and in the next decade after this the freedom and localism and the field will take hold (source: Austin Coppock and Gordon White)

Yes, very much. But, I think there is a Jeffrey Kripal book for each person who has an interest in these topics. He has written many. I think the ones people cite most often would be Authors of the Impossible. He himself has said his book The Flip might be the place to start. For some reason I didn’t, I started with the first chapters of The Super Natural and now Secret Body because I need to do it this way.

Gordon White has done four wonderful interviews with him on the Rune Soup podcast which I highly enjoyed and listened to several times.

had acquaintances that would take the slugs out of .22 cartridges and put in soap and shoot at each other

not the brightest—and not uninjured either—but still somehow alive

haaa, you didn’t break the proof of work streak even tho Tuesday. My mentor always told me if I take one day off I lose three, well it’s true. And so, this is motivating. Just technical artwork over here lately. Need to return to the creative work so I can have a Tuesday doldrums now and then.

Keep going!

reminds me of a challenge a professor in school gave me one time, to take something abstract like this with a concept like you’ve stated and to draw a section cut through it, then a plan drawing, coordinate them, make a series of perspective drawings from them, make changes in perspective, project the changes back to the section and plan, and then make a physical model. It was a lot of work but led to some interesting places 😅

literally, put in so many tea leaves you filter them with your teeth, et voilà! stronger than coffee :) 🫖 ✌️
