Boomers are now in their sixties at the very youngest. Most are not much part of the economy and they will be surpassed by Gen X in terms of wealth by the end of the decade. "You can't take it with you."
In terms of numbers, millennials will be the largest generation by 2030. I can't find any research regarding "generational wealth", but all of that boomer-owned real estate will have to go somewhere.
I agree that "yuppies" were, and are, the worst of humanity. The obsession with wealth, and things was excoriated in the movie "Fight Club", which was distributed in 1999. I see that the term "dinks" - dual income, no kids - is coming back into use. Maybe it's time for another "Fight Club" to remind the millennials of the faults of their progenitors.

A candidate may literally announce plans to end all taxes, provide continuous and never ending orgasms to all citizens above the age of consent and move the entire country to a nirvana state. And when the country instead becomes a feudal police state, the ruler will shrug and say "oops".

Infinite power means infinite “money”. And the ruling class will bring that same protocol to the proles under the “social credit” system that will be foisted upon them. No more money, no savings, no debt.
The proles will make requests for goods and services and the “algorithm” will decide whether whichever individual prole making a request receives a good or service based on adherence to the “algorithm”.
That “algorithm” will be presented as “objective” and “facts-based” when it is actually a construct of the ruling class. The “algorithm” will be engineered by the ruling class to ensure maximum control with minimum chance of power exchange.
Thus, “money” will be a long gone memory and likely will be seen by future proles as “evil”.

I still don't get it. If I am a shareholder (owner) of a company, I believe that the company makes a product or provides a service in a profitable way. If the company is generating extra funds, the company should be either using it to improve the product or service, maybe expand operations to new products and services in which it has expertise, or at least modify its systems to create maximum efficiency. Absent all of those options, simply pay out any excess funds back to me, the owner, so that I may make investments in other companies. Why do I need my company to hold bitcoin for me? If a company simply wants to be a bitcoin vault, then let it be a bitcoin vault. Then I can decide whether it is more profitable to me to invest in a vault or into bitcoin directly.
