Running Alby Hub + Alby Go

Something I’ve been thinking about:

Banning mortgages for houses.

I feel this would cause houses to drop 90%+ because people would only offer what they can afford to buy in full. Houses would lose value as they age unless fixed. And they would also get cheaper as they get easier to make.

I feel people won’t invest in houses if they know they will decrease in value and potentialy wipe out any gains if fixed.

Does this make sense? or am I missing something?

Why is the gov fighting over money they can print for free?

Maybe they’ll shut down and stay shut down.

Save in bitcoin and take their power away.

What does the global head of activism at Bank of America do?

These postions are a joke, 80% could be cut without noticing.

Mo Salah is the best player in the world.

They're pretty comparable, honestly. I have used both and have a slight preference to nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll. Pros to nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct is their app store has a lot more apps available and it is dead simple to set up a reverse proxy to your services since they use a standard port system and now have Nginx Proxy Manager available to install. Cons are, they aren't fully open-source and it is more difficult to run anything that is not available in their approved marketplace.

Pros of Start9 are, most everything you actually need for running a high-functioning Bitcoin and Lightning node are all in the marketplace, and it is really easy to side-load applications that aren't in the marketplace, so long as they have been packaged for Start9. StartOS is fully open-source (MIT). If you buy one of their devices, you get lifetime support and they are quite helpful folks, from my personal experience. Cons are that until we get their next update, (no ETA for a year+) we won't have the ability to easily set up a reverse proxy to services running on the device, which means remote access is pretty well only via Tor.

I am personally using my old Umbrel as a home server, since I can so easily remotely access the services running on it, and using my Start9 as my Bitcoin and Lightning node with remote access to my wallet via NWC thanks to nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm Hub.

Thank you, appreciate the response. I’m thinking of going with Start9, is 32gb ram necessary? I’m only planning on running btc/ln node and synapse matrix server, but would like to be open to running more stuff in the future

Umbrel or Start9?

What are pros and cons for each?

The best part about 100k is the fiat market being closed and the MSTR shorts can’t cover. 🤣

Times are changing… people are fighting back against this woke nonsense.

It makes sense to buy bitcoin at any fiat denominated price

A majority of people won’t buy bitcoin until their financial advisor tells them to. And even then they will buy the ETF.

I’d bet this will happen around 1M USD per coin.

I can’t wait for gold to be demonitized.

Cheap gold jewelry will be awesome.

If financial news hosts or financial advisors actually did their job, bitcoin would be talked about 24/7

With bitcoin hitting all time highs daily, remember to take profits… sell fiat for bitcoin whenever you can.

It’s definitely the best outcome for hedge funds and governments to not let people accumulate this low. If they want to keep control they would run up the price.
