Haven't done much updates on here.
My grandfather passed away on the 23rd of July after battling cancer, in his home surrounded by family.
We had his funeral services yesterday at the local Catholic church since he was Catholic.
I gave the first reading and, once the church services were finished, i carried the emerald-colored box of his ashes to his car for one last final ride. Once we got to the cemetary i gave another reading. Once the cemetary services were over i placed his box into the grave and shoveled in the first bit of dirt. Myself, my brother, my cousin and my grandfather's lifelong friend shoveled in the dirt.
Once the cemetary services were finished we all went to a country-type club and celebrated his life.
I'll greatly miss my grandfather.

My grandfather's condition had gotten alot worse since the last post. He's no longer able to stand on his own, his legs have gotten really stiff and his feet are off-color. He's gotten really erratic and unable to eat much for the past few days.
Based on his condition for the past few weeks, he doesn't have much time left.
The stress of it all is wearing me down. I will be posting alot less.
Got more work done at the house. Once we can get a large dumpster i'll be taking out the molded wall. Thank you to everyone who donated to my fundraiser ( https://kuno.anne.media/fundraiser/l1qa/ ) and sent me Monero by other means! Without you i would not be able to afford the tools and repairs!
I've chizeled out the parts of the chimney that blocked my repairs and added another board to block the hole. Also caulked around the edges, but im not sure i got everything i should. Forgot to bring my phone, so no pics. Will take some pics next time we go to the house.
While i hate heights, going up the ladder is getting easier for me. It's just the looking down part that ties my nuts in a knot.
Once/if we get a new dumpster is when i'll be tearing out the molded wall/s and temporarily replacing them with plywood

Earlier today i had some freetime so i patched up the hole in the roof as best as i could while sweating like a pig from the humidity. I'll have to modify the roof a bit and cut a smaller piece of wood to fit in the bottom part, and will caulk all the edges; but that'll have to get done next week since the whole family has important plans for the weekend.

He does smoke sometimes at night, but mostly to help with having an appetite
Forgot to do some updates on here.
My remaining grandfather was diagnosed with stage4 cancer about 2 months ago. We've had to make several late-night hospital visits due to his pain being unbearable.
After a few weeks of this, his doctors gave him a pain-med regiment to help him be able to be comfortable at home.
Recently he's been having close family and friends visit him and give their regards and share memories together.
Earlier today a hospice nurse came by and asked him and my grandmother some questions to help her with being able to give better care to him once he's at his last weeks/days.
