I think Bitcoin is an & and & story π€.
Western privilege makes it only make sense to see Bitcoin mainly as an investment vehicle.
Outside of that privilege it becomes more a permissionless payment rail, which conserves their savings.
It is the 'investors' that help holding the value (even with all the volatility, it is just free market), that makes it make sense to use as payment rail, being permissionless payment rail )at least having that option) makes it make sense to invest (not just scarcity, I have less than 21M drawings, that doesn't make them valuable)
βΎοΈ Both use cases feed on each other, without the need of even interacting with each other. Just using the same tool for different purposes is what makes up the 'unique concept' of Bitcoin.

I just bought a tap, not involved in the project myself π, but a bit of assembly & tinkering is needed.
We have the same issue here, I know about max. 4 semi Bitcoiners in my area. So my idea is to just low key it. Have noderunnersradio playing on a speaker, have plebtap installed, print paper with short explainer and chill out.
Peeps can get free Sats for trying out beertap and play dj from me. I don't expect a big crowd, so it should be feasible to cover the cost π.
Just have to find a moment we 4 are all available at least so I am not just sitting there by myself π€£
