The repeated leaks to leftwing Axios
1. Who is the senior Trump administration official who keeps leaking to Axios and driving an intentional wedge between our country and Israel? I’ve a couple ideas. The Biden administration did exactly the same thing. They’re undermining the president and the purported purpose of the negotiations with Iran. I urge the NSC, DOJ, and FBI to open a leak investigation.
2. In the end, Israel must do what it believes is in the best interest of its citizens. They were attacked. Their people were slaughtered. Their army is fighting and dying on the battlefield. And they have to live with the consequences long after POTUS leaves office. It’s a sovereign nation. A democracy.
3. It would help if the administration didn’t go it alone and both Israel and our Senate had input. Our Senate will have a constitutional role in this process after negotiations are completed. No one should act surprised.
4. It’s clear to me, based on recent public comments, that there is no serious military option on the table, unless the negotiations crash altogether. I could be wrong but doubt it.

I have a novel idea: LET ISRAEL DESTROY HAMAS! Stop pulling them back and dragging this out. The hostages would likely have already been freed but for this constant interference. We are turning this into a "forever war." And Hamas keeps getting these diplomatic lifelines that incentivizes them to keep holding the hostages. We would never be doing this or tolerate what Hamas is doing if these were American hostages and Hamas was on our border and had slaughtered our people. Enough!

Despite all the talk about and with the Iranian regime, almost nothing is said about the murder, torture, rape, starvation, and hopelessness of the people who suffer under the Islamist regime. The vast majority of the citizenry is Muslim, and they hate the Islamists who've imprisoned them in their own land. No, if a "deal" is reached with the regime, the people there will not live in peace and prosperity. In fact, the Islamist regime will be empowered, having no fear of being toppled. Most of the people, again, are Muslim, and they will suffer even more. But no one seems to give a damn about these Muslims. Like so many other places in the Middle East, the people who suffer most under these Islamist regimes are Muslims. Let's be clear: the Islamist Iranian regime and the people of Iran are not the same. The survival of the regime means the continuing death and abuse of so many of its citizens. I dare say the Muslim citizens in Iran would welcome the elimination of the Iranian regime and its nuclear program as much as the Israelis -- and as much as WE should, given its grave threat to our own country.
