I’m having one of those weeks right now.
“Swiping” wasn’t the ultimate turn-down back then. You had to be a nice person IRL because more people knew you.
Yeah if someone asked if you had an android back then you’d say Nah, he’s the Lieutenant Commander on the Enterprise 1701-D.
This is the same far-flung world where, if you want something, you leave the house and have a choice of stores from which to buy it.
You cannot sit on the couch and move your fingers around to look at a picture of it on a screen, then pay for it with numbers and wait for it to show up at your door at some point, or not.
If you don’t like the item you purchased, you simply go back to the store and return it. You don’t call an 800 number and have a long conversation with a robot that tells you that you cannot mail it back.
WOW !! This is some great stuff!!!
It’s so great to see so real artists putting stuff up here.
A little bit of whimsy. Free form drawing can be liberating and therapeutic.
I wonder what it says about me?

I think it might be a little of both, now that you mention it.
As far as I know,
It’s basically a way to sell stuff online, like Etsy. You set up a website with them, then you have a “store” where customers can order things from Shopify.
I assume you’ll have to give them your bank account information to get payments, and I’m sure Shopify will charge you monthly to have your work on their platform.
Also, keep in mind that they will probably take a fee out of every sale, like a traditional art gallery would take a percentage of each sale for the privilege of having your work displayed in their gallery.

This is amazing! Painting glass bottles with watercolor is something I hope one day to be able to do.
Nothing much shocks us at this point. I’m waiting for full-face tattoos to be as normal as a seventeen-word coffee drink. Weird times we live in.
These pictures are really great work! Have you sold artwork on nostr before?
Ive never sold anything online ever, so that is the basis for my comment above.
I’ve always met people in person, and it just seems that esp here that people are more aware of security issues than anyone.
I wouldn’t know how to sort out the scam from the real trustworthy client.
