Testing the Redditors’ Paradise #Nostr community. This could become a place for the new comers from Reddit to ask questions and suggest ideas. Took the liberty of adding nostr:npub1lunaq893u4hmtpvqxpk8hfmtkqmm7ggutdtnc4hyuux2skr4ttcqr827lj nostr:npub1ltx67888tz7lqnxlrg06x234vjnq349tcfyp52r0lstclp548mcqnuz40t and nostr:npub1alpha9l6f7kk08jxfdaxrpqqnd7vwcz6e6cvtattgexjhxr2vrcqk86dsn as moderators.

Anyone willing to participate please holla 😉

I believe that standardizing the URL paths and having them `naddr` based is one of the priorities. Stuart did mention this too.

At the moment Kiwi’s community URLs look like this:

https://nostr.kiwi/communities/34550:7f5c2b4e48a0e9feca63a46b13cdb82489f4020398d60a2070a968caa818d75d:RedditorsParadise

Oh, almost forgot. You’ll hear some mind blowing #news regarding communities and long-form posts very soon 👀

This is a really cool idea, I'll definitely be posting updates here

Oh no I wonder how many other people have been tagging it! Maybe if I dig around in my junk files I find the nsec to delete it — you know, it's actually quite surprising that impersonation accounts haven't been a major issue yet, it would be so easy to make like a million clones of somebody

I have no idea where that other account came from haha, it must have been some local dev thing where I forgot to comment out the public relays

nostr:npub12wg5c6yh7kh9de5ke7tzt39gaavxk5ynqzpgul86mv73hz03z2wsz72psq, Satellite.earth giving me an error when trying to go to a community:

🙏

```
Uncaught SyntaxError: expected expression, got '<'
registerSW.js:1
```

This is why you don't push to prod before going to sleep 🤦

Should be fixed now, thanks

Excited to listen to this. Been thinking about how when AIs start autonomously spending money, that’s probably going to supercharge the market for APIs that provide commodity services nostr:note1mclk0kprvjgzdn6lmvt2hr6hpkwfjlrv5f07eqh70elv75g5wgys3hzha6

This is really interesting. It's similar to the pattern I ended up implementing to track payments for Satellite CDN where the client who wants to buy credit asks the server for a kind 9733 "order" event, to be tagged in the kind 9734 zap event, while my server listens for the 9735 receipt.

Nice work! nostr:npub1alpha9l6f7kk08jxfdaxrpqqnd7vwcz6e6cvtattgexjhxr2vrcqk86dsn may I ask, from a technical standpoint, how did you go about implementing the ability to follow communities? I'd like to ensure that Satellite and nostr.kiwi handle this in a way that does not fragment the user experience.

Good to know! I'm going to book my tickets then

Interesting! Yeah it's starting to look likely that the future of social media will be AI vs AI. We need a governance layer that allows humans to have our own priorities.

If we don't find a way to apply AI to maintain decentralized spaces where free speech is possible, we're just leaving it to be used by centralized entities to further corral and censor people.

Just deployed a new build of Satellite with some performance optimizations that seem to have a had a significant effect — smooth and responsive even when loading huge threads on my 2015 macbook pro
