Yes. Let me be clear, i know that my privacy setup isn't as good as it could be, im not perfectly situated for shtf, but my primary reason for holding bitcoin isnt to spend it but to save it as a long term investment. I don't plan on spending our using any of it for a good while. The main reasons I stopped messing with monero was 1. I found it difficult to use/transfer (multiple software errors without loss of funds) 2. The fact that you couldn't send multiple transactions from the same packet until after the 10 validations succeeded (there were talks that this would get fixed, did it?), and 3. The lack of need for a spendable crypto at this point in my life. If push came to shove, and i needed to spend my stack secretly, I would use a nokyc option like the bitcoin company to get me useable gift cards. My priority is saving, not spending, and in that regard specifically, i think bitcoin far exceeds monero. To justify using monero for its unique qualities, id have to change several things in my threat vector. Bruh, i still get paychecks and pay bills in fiat, im not at yalls level of anon
Practically speaking, I don't see why that would be important in this case as the wallet isnt identifiable to me, im not buying kyc, and new addresses are generated each time. If it were easily traceable from liquid wallet to wallet, that would be one thing, but its not. One could make the case that the timestamp and short list of possible pegins would be a weak point, but you need a lot of information going in to track liquid whereas onchain is wide open.
I've been thinking for a while how we could make profile badges fun and "worth it". The one idea that I came up with that I think would work would be a sort of competition event like an online scavenger hunt in which at the end of the hunt you get a sat reward and a badge for winning and a different one for participating. Online Geocache/scavenger hunt....tis good noo? 😏

Oh, i thought that was cool kid slang for monero 🤣
Never heard of that one before. No, so far i havent heard of a client that supports liquid, but if there is one, ill be all over it.
I understand the use case, i have a wallet, however my threat model has me at liquid bitcoin as a privacy compromise currently.
Because they are secretive until they crawl out of their caves to mess you up lol
Every #nostr wave of ignorant anti-monero notes ends with a wave of notes from the #monero goblins. Y'all have been warned 😅
Also.... #garnet client ftw... 👀
My Christmas list is simple:
- socks
- boxers
- bitcoin
So... everytime any news station called it dead? Some days, the mob would spam several news articles, so daily costs would be well over $10k. I'm weirdly curious about this statement for some reason 😂
Surprise! Not really. Robosats is about to go mainstream. Buy p2p, throw it into nostr:npub1ajlrwgfj4yerhqf7ady03h7wmtk2qr3gs7h3sxcx83k05yld36sswpzx3q to take advantage of Liquid privacy, transfer to cold storage once you have 2-5 mil sats to justify the UTXO. Can't tax what they can't track.
This movie is giving away $300k and a whole bitcoin to someone who goes to see their movie. That's how you market a movie.
I wonder if I can get my kids to willingly clean and do their chores by making them tasks in a real life Among Us game...
They have a responsive mobile client also. Not usually one for video games but every year, around this time, I go back and visit some oldies

I mean...I get it. If I had the power to save my son from life imprisonment, not gonna lie, I'd save his ungrateful butt too. I wouldnt expect anything different honestly.
