Savannah United was honored play the last ever games at the GSU Armstrong University Stadium Field this past weekend. The space will now be the site for new buildings being added to the campus. In its heyday, the playing surface was considered the best in Savannah thanks to Eric Faulconer, who was head coach of the Women’s Soccer team (when the School was known as Armstrong Atlantic State University) and took great care in maintaining it. Summer Futsal League is back! One of the best things we have added into our program offerings is #futsal - an indoor version of the game ⚽️ created in #Brazil 🇧🇷 that is great for skill development. The ball is heavier and is played on a harder surface. The players have to be really creative to be impactful in the games.
