Im devious ‼️💥

Removed my GPG key from my GitHub account after I could no longer be arsed dealing with it.

I'm finally free from opening up my password manager every time I want to commit some code

It seems like every time someone pings a political party on twitter, there's a relatively high chance they'll accidentally mention the Roblox roleplay version of that political party instead

'Anti-cryptocurrency' Redditors when the "what would you do if you were suddenly transported to 10 years ago" post appears on their feed for the dozenth time today: buy bitcoi

Just finished mangling the history of 3 Github repositories with filter-brach, filter-repo, and rebase to make sure my commits have the right email address (+ randomly adding about a thousand contributions to my commit chart in the process????)

Some people have said Bluesky has about twice the number of Nostr users (going by accounts visible on most popular relays), though still similar orders of magnitude. Obviously the nature of Nostr makes it much harder to give a good estimate for number of active users.

Eh. Bluesky is mid

The AT Protocol is worse than Nostr (almost all protocols are worse than nostr). Both are about the same size in user count. Invite keys don't affect much, but I feel them hosting the main instance themselves was a mistake, as it makes the platform feel centralised and it's impossible to scroll more than about 5 posts on any feed without seeing "Today's Argument™". full decentralisation >>>>>> federation

The community is similar to Nostr in some ways and very different in others, people on it are generally more progressive and left-leaning which I heavily appreciate, but isn't engaging beyond that for me because the dev & crypto communities are much smaller. Both are much better than X (very low bar)

Custom feeds aren't such a bad idea and makes discoverability a little easier than just newest-first.

PowerShell has fish-style completions now, I've autofilled about 2 commands so far and it's pretty awesome

How much would it cost to hire a professional shoplifter? Unless they have some premium competition, it seems difficult for someone to shoplift more than their salary's worth

Many parts of the OSB are fundamentally unenforceable, very vaguely worded, or only serve to scare big companies and give more power to OFCOM (terrible idea). Nostr won't be affected at all
