The Pty Host in Visual Studio Code just tends to collapse like a house of cards more often lately.

I love how the archived 2017 election pages on the BBC website still say "LIVE COVERAGE" in big blinking red lights

Just installed the trunk.io VSCode extension, solely for the feature where it installs and applies formatters and linters for you, replacing dozens of extensions with one. It has some issues with installing tools for me and is slower than using a formatting extension alone, but damn is it an extremely promising idea and not something I knew I desperately needed until now.

I need to get better at damage control

The purpose of AI companies like OpenAI is to show off flashy things every few months, host expensive APIs, incite news articles to be written to show the public that the AI revolution is here, and get the odd twitter reply section riled up over something or other.

As always, real innovation happens in open source.

Make genocide unaffordable

Thank you for the heads-up, Mark Rendle!

Have I got news for you

Need some help here nostr, my dad believes that csw is Satoshi, what can I do to fix this!?

Spent 30 minutes going back in time through version history of one file in git to see what one CSS variable did, only to get back to the change when it was added to see that it never did anything.

My internet is finally back after being dead for 4 days

Interested in different kinds of relays, mainly to reduce the number of Websocket connections I have to have open from a client and improve my battery life lol. Maybe an 'aggregate' relay that just takes notes from a huge number of other relays, or a 'disperse' relay that spreads notes to as many other relays as it can? Interesting ideas but concerns about centralisation.

Sorry yes I was wrong there, racism can be clearly seen as early as Shakespeare's plays – against Othello, as well as antisemitism. However unless some incredible future extinction event happens it seems very unlikely that humanity will continue to speciate much.

Anyone else gonna try to watch the millionth Bitcoin block be mined (I think sometime early/mid 2027?)
